The Little Flock Non Food Bank is an outreach program started by the Bath Seventh Day Adventist Church in Bath, Maine. Its Grand Opening was November 19th, 2014.
We are answering an unmet need in the Bath area. The local food banks are much needed, however, there are needs that surpass just food. Personal items, paper towels, dog and cat food, etc. are all needed items, but they cannot be purchased with Food Supplement benefits, and many people find it difficult to purchase these items on a small budget.
We serve the following communities:
Bath
West Bath
Phippsburg
Woolwich
Arrowsic
Georgetown
...and any other area served by the RSU 1 school district.
Although the Bath Seventh-day Adventist church is small in size, its vision is large. We hope that through the Little Flock Non-Food Bank we can offer items not freely obtained anywhere else in the community.
